Hays County, in coordination with the City of San Marcos, is advancing plans for an overpass over the Union Pacific Railroad on Centerpoint Road while widening the roadway. The project aims to enhance safety and reduce congestion as this area continues to grow.

The county completed a preliminary engineering report and schematic design for the overpass, which helped identify project cost and next steps.

This project will include design, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, and utility coordination. Construction is currently not funded.
