The purpose of this project is to improve pavement conditions and enhance safety. Existing road conditions include one lane in each direction with deteriorating pavement and no shoulders. This area continues to grow, and improvements are needed to keep traffic flowing safely.
This project is in the final design phase and anticipated to be complete in late 2026.
COST: $18M
IMPROVEMENTS
Widen the existing roadway to include:

Reconstructed travel lane in each direction (no median)

Shoulders on both sides of the road

Relocation and upgrade of watermain in coordination with County Line Special Utility District (CLSUD)
