Hays County is advancing multimodal improvements to enhance connectivity, safety, and accessibility between Wimberley Square, Blue Hole Park and adjacent trail segments.

Initial concepts for roadway improvements were first identified in the Wimberly Valley Trails Master Plan, completed in 2022, by Hays County in partnership with the Cities of Wimberly and Woodcreek. The plan established a multi-year vision for hike-and-bike trails, sidewalks and other transportation and mobility improvements throughout Wimberley and Woodcreek.

Project design was completed in 2024, and the project is now advancing into right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, utility coordination and construction.
