COST: $5M
Hays County is working to improve safety, connectivity, and mobility at the intersection of RM 12 and RM 150 in Dripping Springs.

The project will include shifting the existing intersection south to avoid impacts to Phillips Cemetery and align with a future planned roadway, the Dripping Springs Southwest Connection, which will extend RM 150 to connect to US 290 west of Dripping Springs.

The concept for this intersection realignment was first identified in the 2013 Hays County Transportation Plan and was vetted again during the development of the FM 150 West Character Plan completed in 2017. To accommodate the growing traffic volumes, a signal was installed at the intersection in 2019.

This phase of the project includes finalizing design, utility relocation, and construction.
